How Often Are Lessons Given?

Lessons are generally scheduled on a weekly basis in a 1/2 hour time slot. You will be assigned a specific, 1/2 hour lesson time (example: Wed 3pm- 3:30pm) with an instructor which will become YOUR LESSON TIME every week. Lesson times can be individually rescheduled with your instructor if a conflict occurs. 1 hour lesson times and multiple lessons per week are also available on request at your instructors discretion.

How Much Do Lessons Cost?

Lesson rates are set individually per instructor. At the current time you can expect to pay between $16 and $20 per 1/2 hour lesson, depending on instrument and instructor.

How Are Lesson Payments Handled?

Lesson payments can be made out directly to your instructor. All instructors accept cash and check. Some instructors will accept credit/ debit cards and will bill via PayPal if requested. Lessons are paid for by- the- month and are paid at the first lesson of the month. Adjusted lesson payments for the month are still expected at the first lesson of the month even if you have credited lessons within that month.

What If I Know I Will Not Be There On A Given Day?

All lessons that will be missed due to a pre- arranged absence will be encouraged to be made up at another time. The best way to learn an instrument is by steady, daily practice and weekly lessons. If circumstances prevent you from attending a lesson on any given week, lesson payments can be adjusted for that month.

Am I charged For Missing A Lesson?

24 hours notice is required for any absence. Instructors reserve the right to charge you for a missed lesson time without a proper 24 hour notice. Please alert your instructor RIGHT AWAY of any unforeseen needs for absence like illness, death in the family, etc. Instructors book their time with certain expectations and that time must be valued!
